Organise your own Memory Walk and raise funds for care today and a cure tomorrow.
Organising your own memory walk is really easy! Our team will be there to support you every step of the way, and your walk can be anything you want it to be, it's Your Walk. Your Way. You can walk with a few friends and family, or open it up to your local community and invite the public to join you.

A guide to organising your own memory walk
1. Choose date, location and size
The first thing you need to do is decide where and when. You can choose to walk by yourself, with friends and family or open it up to the general public. Simply choose a date between 1st August to 31st October 2017.
2. Tell us about your walk
Only the organiser of the walk needs to register but please tell us how many people you are expecting. Don't worry if these details change, there's plenty of time to let us know. Organising a walk at your local school? Visit our Schools page to sign up.
3. Check you're insured
If you are organising a large event open to your local community, you may need to have appropriate Public Liability Insurance in place. Your event is not covered by Alzheimer's Society Public Liability Insurance.
4. Promote your walk
We can provide press release templates, invitations and promotional posters so you can tell people in your local area about your Memory Walk.
5. How we help
We'll send you a Memory Walk pack with everything you need for your walk. You will also get access to our online hub as soon as you register where you can download all the fundraising materials and information you need!
Your pack will include:
- An organisers guide and t-shirt
- Stickers for all your walkers for when they cross the finish line
- Invitations and a promotional poster
