The route will start and finish at Baltic Square, where there will be a hive of activity to get everyone ready for Memory Walk. Amongst the excitement take a moment to reflect on who you are walking for by leaving a message on the Memory Tree and watch it blossom through the night.

How to get there

Memory Walk will start and finish at Baltic Square, which is located by the Baltic Flour Mill, next to the Gateshead Millennium Bridge.

There is no dedicated event parking, please use city centre parking and public transport. Baltic Square is 1.5km walk from Newcastle train station and Gateshead Metro.

Memory Walkers can be dropped off on South Shore Road. To keep Tyneside environmentally friendly please choose the most sustainable method of transport and car share where possible.
