What to expect on the day

Both routes will start at "the flats" near Cemetery Lake and the Hawthorns wildlife centre. Both routes are wheelchair and pushchair accessible and stick to hardened footpaths. The event site is on grass. Both routes explore this large open space, a haven for flora and fauna. The short route explores the southern side of the Common, before looping back to the finish line, whereas the long route also includes loops of the northern part of the Common. Please note that the route and route distances are subject to change.

How to get there

Parking is restricted on the Common and there is no event car park. However the Common is approximately a 20 minutes walk from the City Centre and Southampton Central Station. The common is also located on a frequent bus route. For more info visit the Southampton Journey Planner.
