Your walk. Your way.

What to expect on the day

Take a 6km walk along the Humber Bridge, the longest single-span suspension bridge in the world to cycle or walk across. This walk has just one route length available, so come prepared to walk the full 6km as you take in the sights of the iconic bridge. The route is suitable for Memory Walkers of all ages including pushchairs and wheelchairs. Please note all routes and distances are subject to change.

All routes will start and finish at Humber Bridge Car Park, where there will be a hive of activity to get everyone ready for Memory Walk. Amongst the excitement, take a moment to reflect on who you are walking for by leaving a message on the Memory Tree and watch it blossom through the day.

How to get there

Memory Walk will start and finish at Humber Bridge Car Park, which is located off Ferriby Road, accessible from the A15 and Boothferry Road. Follow directions from our stewards to the event site.

Event Parking is available at Humber Bridge, please use postcode HU13 0LN and follow directions from stewards to the parking areas. To reduce congestion, there is no parking available on Ferriby Road. Please arrive in good time to avoid queues.

Hessle Train Station is just 1km away, with several bus routes also nearby. Visit Hull Council and the transport pages to find out more about accessing the venue by public transport.

Memory Walkers can be dropped off by Humber Bridge Tourist Information Centre. To keep Humberside environmentally friendly, please choose the most sustainable method of transport and car share where possible.

Registration will close Thursday 26th September 2019 and you will not be able to register at the event. So sign up now and get your team members to do so too!
