What to expect on the day
Take the shorter 2km walk for a gentle stroll through the estate which is suitable for Memory Walkers of all ages including pushchairs and wheelchairs. The longer 8.5km walk will take you around the park with some woodland paths so don’t forget your wellies and walking boots! Please note all routes and distances are subject to change.
All routes will start and finish on the front field where there will be a hive of activity to get everyone ready for Memory Walk. This event has very limited mobile phone signal, so ensure you have a meeting point arranged for your team, or travel together. Please note the event site is on grass. Amongst the atmosphere take a moment to reflect on who you are walking for by leaving a message on the Memory Tree and watch it blossom through the day.
How to get there
Memory Walk will start and finish on the front field, which is located by the visitors centre nearest Clumber Lake and the café.
Event Parking is available at Clumber Park, please use postcode S80 3AZ. Follow Memory Walk signage on the approach and inside the estate. Please follow parking instructions from stewards.
Please arrive in good time to avoid queues, and note that parking is on grass. Carburton and Drayton gates will be closed for access to the event.
To help us be environmentally friendly, please choose the most sustainable method of transport and car share where possible.
Registration will close Thursday 4th October 2018 and you will not be able to register at the event. So sign up now and get your team members to do so too!
