Unite with thousands of walkers outside the world-renowned Wales Millennium Centre, and stride out together past historical landmarks along the waters edge around Cardiff Bay. The short route is 4km and is fully accessible, going to the barrage and back. The long 10km route does a circular loop of the bay.

Both the short and long route start at Roald Dahl Plass and meander past the Norwegian Church and towards the barrage, where the short route will return pass many iconic sites and the long route will continue across the fish pass to the seaside town of Penarth. The long route will follow the nautical trail across the Pont y Werin (the people's bridge) to Cardiff Marina and finally through the rich wildlife of the wetlands reserve before returning to the event area. There is some open water on route.

Please note all routes and distances are subject to change.
