What to expect on the day

Take the shorter 3km walk for a gentle stroll along the coastline which is suitable for Memory Walkers of all ages including pushchairs and wheelchairs. The longer 6km walk will take you further along the coastline, taking in the sights of the iconic Brighton Pier.

Please note all routes and distances are subject to change.

All routes will start and finish at Hove Lawns No.1 where there will be a hive of activity to get everyone ready for Memory Walk. Please note the event site is on grass. Take a moment to reflect on who you are walking for by leaving a message on the Memory Tree, and watch it blossom through the day.

How to get there

Memory Walk will start and finish at Hove Lawns No. 1, which is located next to the King Alfred's Leisure Centre. Memory Walkers can be dropped off at Hove Street.  To keep Brighton environmentally friendly please choose the most sustainable method of transport and car share where possible. 

There is no dedicated event parking, please use city centre parking and public transport.  Hove Lawns No. 1 is 1.6km walk from Hove train station.  

Registration will close Thursday 5th September 2019 and you will not be able to register at the event. So sign up now and get your team members to do so too!
