What to expect on the day

Take the shorter 3km walk for a gentle stroll along the coastline with panoramic views along the promenade which is suitable for Memory Walkers of all ages including pushchairs and wheelchairs. The longer 6km walk will take you further along the coastline, taking in the sights of the iconic Brighton Pier. Please note all routes and distances are subject to change.

All routes will start and finish on Hove Lawns, where there will be a hive of activity to get everyone ready for Memory Walk. Please note the event site is on grass. Amongst the atmosphere take a moment to reflect on who you are walking for and leave a message on the Memory Tree and watch it blossom through the day.

How to get there

Memory Walk will start and finish on Hove Lawn No. 1, which is located adjacent to King Alfred Leisure Centre.

There is no dedicated event parking, please use public transport or local parking. Hove Lawn No. 1 is 1.5km walk from Hove train station. You can find out more about local transport by visiting the JourneyOn website

To keep Brighton & Hove environmentally friendly please choose the most sustainable method of transport and car share where possible.

Registration will close Thursday 6th September 2018 and you will not be able to register at the event. So sign up now and get your team members to do so too!
