What to expect on the day

The shorter route will head past the Reconciliation Sculpture on tarmac paths - please note that this is a steep hill which makes it difficult and not advisable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. The longer route will take in breath-taking views, however it is not fully accessible for wheelchair or pushchair users. Please note that the route and route distances are subject to change.

The event area in front of Stormont Estate is at the top of a hill - this can be difficult to access for those using wheelchairs.

How to get there

Please enter via Stoney Road for free parking, this is the left turning just past the main gates on Upper Newtownards Road (A20), directly across from the Maxol garage. If using a sat nav please use BT4 3SD. Please note that Massey Avenue entrance will not be open for Memory Walk participants - all cars must enter via Stoney Road entrance. Metro bus services leave at approximately half hour intervals from Donegal Square West beside Belfast City Hall. Buses stop at the Massey Avenue gates and beside the Carson Statue roundabout at Stormont Estate. For more information on public transport, please visit
