What to expect on the day

Take the shorter 2km walk for a gentle stroll along the south bank of River Great Ouse and around Longholme boating lake which is suitable for Memory Walkers of all ages including pushchairs and wheelchairs. The longer 8km walk will take you around the embankment, before going around Priory Park’s lakes, fields and woodlands. This route follows a mixture of paved footpaths, grass and woodland paths. Don’t forget your wellies and walking boots! Please note all routes and distances are subject to change.

All routes will start and finish at the east side of Everard Meadow where there will be a hive of activity to get everyone ready for Memory Walk. Please note the event site is on grass. Amongst the atmosphere take a moment to reflect on who you are walking for and leave a message on the Memory Tree and watch it blossom through the day.
