Alzheimer's Society ambassador and actress Lynda Bellingham said 'My Mum had Alzheimer's so I know how devastating its impact can be - not only on the person but also their family and friends. I was pleased to be asked to launch this major event which raised a phenomenal £480,000 last year. This year we're hoping to really step things up! we hope everyone will have fun raise money and fight dementia every step of the way.'
Actress and television personality Adele Silva said 'My nan had dementia, so it is an issue that is close to my heart. Memory Walk is a fantastic way to raise money for Alzheimer's Society and the great thing about it is all the family can take part.'
