Length of walk: 1 mile; 2 miles; 4 miles

Description All Walks start and finish at the Plough. The 1 mile park and 2 mile Riverside walks are suitable for all ages and abilities, including disabled participants, as they can be completed on hard surfaces while the 4 miles Riverside walk involves rough country footpaths, steps, styles , gates and the possibility of horses. There will be refreshments to purchase from the Plough Pub, a Tombola, Memory Tree and we are looking in to some musical entertainment at the start and finish. If you are unable to particpate but would like to come along and have a Memory Tag tied to a tree in dedication of a loved one please feel free to attend.

How to get there: The Plough is situated on the A1434 (Newark Road) by the bridge that crosses over the river Witham. Buses 13,14 and 27 can be used. Ask for Bracebridge community centre stop which is also known as the grovesnor Hall stop. The A1464 can be accessed from the Lincoln bypass directly from the roundabout at southern end or by following Doddington or Skellingthorpe Roads crossing over Tritton Road to Rookery Lane and turning left opposite the Esso Petrol Station. For other routes head towards the city centre and look for signs for the A46 to newark this will take you on the A1434 and on heading out of town the Plough will be on your right just after crossing the bridge of the river Witham.
